People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) has urged US ice cream makers Ben & Jerry's Homemade to replace cow's in ice cream stock with breast milk."PETA's appeal materializes in the wake of summary reports that a Swiss restaurant sharer will begin purchasing breast milk from nursing mothers and substituting breast milk for 75 per cent of the cow's milk in the food he serves," the animal rights group said. PETA officials say a move to breast milk would lessen the suffering of dairy cows and their calves on factory farms and benefit human lustiness. "The fact that human adults consume huge quantities of dairy merchandises made from milk that was meant for a baby cow nondiscriminatory doesn't produce sense," PETA spokeswoman Tracy Reiman said. "Everyone knows that the breast is super, so, Ben & Jerry's could do consumers and cows a big favour by making the switch to breast milk."
