Poiché la legge della Tanzania non consente la proprietà di terreno a persone fisiche e giuridiche non residenti nel Paese, nell'Ottobre 2002 si è stipulato un Agreement con l'Arcidiocesi di Dar es Salaam, in base al quale l'Arcidiocesi ottenuto a proprio nome, su tutti i lotti, il Right of Occupancy per 99 anni, subordinato a che sia garantito al Dispensario il diritto d'uso dei 35.700 mq del terreno su cui esso è stato costruito e al Villaggio della Speranza ( Kijiji cha Furama ) il diritto d'uso dei restanti 199.050 mq. In July 1946, Alf visited Mimi and took Lennon to Blackpool, secretly intending to emigrate to New Zealand with him. Julia followed them, and after a very heated argument, Alf made the five-year-old Lennon choose between Julia or him, and Lennon chose him twice. As Julia walked away, however, Lennon began to cry and followed her.
