Chloe thinks back to Billy asking her about the baby's paternity in the hospital. Just then, Cane comes along with a pillow and helps to make her more comfortable on the sofa. He talks to the baby, who kicks. They start talking about baby names and Cane jokes that he likes 'Bertha'. Chloe informs the baby that she will never be called 'Bertha Kay'! Cane laughs. Just then, Esther arrives at the door, dragging a suitcase in behind her, saying that Chloe is five months pregnant and bedridden - she's moving in! Chloe nixes the idea, but Esther protests. This goes on until Cane steps in and says that he should be the one to look after her. Esther insists on at least staying to cook dinner - tofu - and heads into the kitchen. Cane whispers to Chloe that they'll get Chinese food after she leaves!Billy arrives at the coffeehouse and runs into Lily.
