My mom has alzheimers. She is in a nursing home now b/c she needs 24 hr/day care. She has a sweet roommate who is very attached to mom, also. Mom has really taken under her wing and cares for her, making sure she gets to activities and meals. In that vein, mom gets upset when Betty exhibits any independence. Mom's disease makes it hard for her to formulate coherent thoughts and ideas when you question her about things so she makes very vague, generalized statements (like "just everything"). Here I am trying to figure out what was bothering her that particular day and the hilarious conversation that ensues.
