Becks teams up with Elmo for an appearance on Sesame Street
David Beckham has acquired a few new brothers pending his year of achievement in LA including Tom Cruise and Will Smith, and now he's got one more towering profile pal to add to the brief.
The football star has teamed up with Elmo for a guest appearance on the hugely well-known children's list Sesame Street.
The LA Galaxy star was invited to appear on the first episode of its 39th season alongside a host of alternative celebrities including Heidi Klum, Jenny McCarthy, Jack Black and Jessica Alba.
He he introduced the word 'persistent' to Elmo and viewers on the show's Word on the Street segment.
A source said: 'David has always fossilized a huge fan of the pomp. When he was a kid he watched it, resembling a lot of folks, and knew all the characters. He was more than happy to go on.'
