Becks teams up with Elmo for an appearance on Sesame Street
David Beckham has acquired a few new mates midst his year of achievement in LA including Tom Cruise and Will Smith, and now he's got something else big profile pal to add to the contents.
The football star has teamed up with Elmo for a guest appearance on the hugely suitable children's schedule Sesame Street.
The LA Galaxy star was invited to appear on the first episode of its 39th season alongside a host of supplementary celebrities including Heidi Klum, Jenny McCarthy, Jack Black and Jessica Alba.
He he introduced the word 'persistent' to Elmo and viewers on the show's Word on the Street segment.
A source said: 'David has always out-of-date a huge fan of the exposition. When he was a kid he watched it, selfsame a lot of general public, and knew all the characters. He was more than happy to go on.'
