I shifted the bag back and forth. Back and forth. I walked up the stairs, and into my room. I couldn't do it now. I sat down on my bed. Everything always had to be so complicated. WHY? I couldn't put this off any longer. I grabbed the bag, and walked into the bathroom. I took it out. A pregnancy test. I gulped. What would he think if I was? What would my PARENTS think? Oh God, my PARENTS. Fuck. I'm SO dead if I am. I took it out of the box. I peed on the stick, then walked out of the bathroom and waited. The longest 15 minutes of my lifetime. I heard it beep. I slowly got up. I was too scared to look. I crossed my fingers, sighed, and opened the bathroom door. I couldn't take it. I ran over to the counter and picked it up. Positive. No. Oh God...NO!!!! I cried. It can't happen. I snapped it in half and threw it in the garbage. I ran into my bedroom and cried. I heard my phone ring. I looked at the caller ID. It was him. Oh no. I wiped my eyes and answered as cheerfully as I could. Hey Ali, it's Nick, he said. I covered the mouthpiece and sniffled. Oh, hey Nick! I said. I couldn't let him know. It wasn't the right time. So...you wanna come over and get a little FRISKY? he said in that oh so sexy voice of his. It made me think. All of the sex we'd had the last few months. One of those...no protection.
