Things happen: story of a teenage pregnancy [chp 6]
Hey! Im gonna start adding recaps so you can know what happened last without having to go back to the last chapter. I know I usually have to do that sometimes, so I figured I wasnt the only one.Heres the recap and story--------------------------------------Recap- Brianna just took here pregnancy test and is about to learn if its positive or not.Brianna: It saysJoe: what?Brianna: ImEverybody: YoureBrianna: Pregnant (burst into tears)Everybody couldnt believe what they were hearing.Joe: (holds Brianna so closely and whispers) well be fine well get through this together.As much as Brianna wanted to know that it was going to be okay she knew it wasnt.Renée: I know it maybe soon to ask this, but what are you going to do with the baby?Joe and Brianna: (look at each other) keep it.Everybody was in shock.Kevin: Well I hope you know what your doing and well all be there for you.Renée, Roxey and Nick: Right well be there for you guys no matter what.Brianna: Thanks but how are we going to tell our parents?Joe: Well I think you and me should get it over and done with before things get out of hand. Maybe we should do it today.Brianna: How about we make a doctors appointment for tomorrow and then go from there because those test arent always accurate.Joe: True.So Brianna called and made the appointment for 9:00 in the morning.*The next morning* Everybody slept at Renee and Roxeys place so they all woke up together.Brianna: Renée, Kev? Would you guys come with us?Renée and Kevin: Sure.Kevin: Ill even drive.Nick: So I guess were staying here Rox.Roxey: I guess so. (Giving them a sad face)Renée: (walking out of the door) Do guys want to see a bunch of pictures of a womens uterus?Roxey and Nick: (in shock) NO THANKS! WELL STAY!Joe: Nice touch!Renée: Thanks.*At the doctors office*Secretary: Brianna.Brianna: Yeah.Secretary: The doctors ready for you.Everybody gets up to go.Secretary: Only one person can go in with Brianna.Renee: Well Joe you should go.Joe: (scared look on his face) yeahThey go in the doctors officeDoctor: Hi there Brianna Im Dr. Higgins(N: first name that came to mind) and you are. (Looking at Joe)Joe: Im Joe.Doctor: Okay so Im guessing you the possible daddy. Joe: uhyeah.Doctor: Well Brianna put this on in there (points to the change room).Brianna: Okay thanks.After 5 minutes Brianna comes back out.Doctor: Come and lay down on here.Brianna: Okay (lays down and takes Joes hand).Doctor: Well I see two heart beats, so yes maam you are pregnant.Brianna:(starts to cry) okay thanksWAIT TWO!!! Doctor: Yeah yours and the babys, Ill make you another appointment.Joe: (rubbing Briannas back) okay thanks.They both get the day of Briannas next appointment and exit the office. When they reach up to Kevin and Renee, Renee immediately notices the sense of disappointment on her best friends face.
